Kneel in the Maze
I want to revolutionise evangelism with words.
I’ve walked around wearing a cross necklace and trying to “show my light” by acting sort of nice but mainly arrogant but I’ve finally decided enough is enough.
I want to create combinations of words that strike people’s hardened hearts and nourish those hearts who strive to be Christlike.
I want to love you. I want to understand God and I want to show you the understanding. But not metaphors and theological evidence but something else.
I feel like there’s something missing. Christian drill rap songs that don’t feel right to me. Empty sermons that feel like a broken record, saying the same general statements.
I want to change that for you.
I want to be part of the means that helps you be happy, through Jesus Christ.
I want to be a voice of the spirit if the Father would grant me so.
So I’m here trying to make something of myself. Trying to be my own type of evangelist, to appeal to demographics and personalities that haven’t had an opportunity to be spoken to. Doubters, people who are simply intrigued, burnt out Christians – I want to reach you, I want to speak to your heart personally. Let me?
I don’t believe I am a special Christian. I’m probably a worse person than you. I judge constantly, I go against my values, I lie, I do stupid shit. But I want to reach a point that I was in at one point (a point of blissful faith, looking around and seeing everything as beautiful because it is a piece of God’s perfect puzzle) by prayer and Bible reading and everything that God said to do, but I’m procrastinating.
I’m here because I want a voice and a say in what you choose for your eternity. I want a say in your rejection, ignoring or acceptance of Christ. I want to deliver His love and message in my silly little but hopefully relatable and theologically accurate way. I will strive toward that standard.
I want to help you answer the questions. How do I believe in Jesus? Why should I believe in Jesus?
To believe, we might need to Kneel in the Maze. (More on that soon.)
I know I’m not there myself yet, but I’m always going to have down periods in my faith. I can’t let that stop me from starting this blog.
